Manage quality

We have been certified according to ISO 9001 since 2003 and have realized that through the growing standards of our customers concerning quality and material for sensitive areas like medical or safety engineering, that this is not enough for us. In 2012 we therefore newly positioned the area of quality management and set the goals in a more strategic way.

What does that mean in detail?

What does that mean in detail?

  • Optimize processes
Continuous adjustment of processes, especially of sensitive intersections in order to detect and prevent risks at an early stage.
  • Motivate staff
Internal staff trainings which do not put the product but the task of the product into the focus. Our employees should know what they support day to day.
  • Ensure quality
Training of releasing processes by means of testing concepts with the goal to only dispatch high-quality products. Beginning with the worker self-monitoring , over in-process-monitoring up to the final control
  • Manage risk
Analysis of all significant areas and product lifecycle phases so that we know when and where a challenge emerges and not only then when the problem occurs.
  • Prevent claims
Leading a claim management with intensified causal analysis as an impetus for further improvement processes. The direct contact between quality management and customer is therefore promoted in order to be able to implement immediate remedial actions as well as preventive measures.
  • Manage suppliers
Extension of supplier management due to the fact that the material and the knowledge as well as the behavior in different manufacturing processes and combinations are very complex, especially in the field of foamed plastic. “Foam is alive”- a principle which shows the complexity and demands high standards to the raw material already.
  • Load audits positively
Use audits as a tool in order to reveal potential gaps in the structure and to give employees the possibility to scrutinize their own work and to make improvement suggestions.
  • Improve continuously
Regulation of continuous improvement measures. Starting with the management of goal setting, supplier and complaint management as well as all development and production stages up to necessary processes of change.
  • Communicate transparently
Maintenance of a communication structure which is prompt but not time consuming, which brings the right employees to the set issues together in order to shoulder challenges in an uncomplicated way, away from any hierarchy.
