Different approaches require different perspectives. We meet these needs by having created two independent development departments: preliminary development and product development.

Not all development is the same

It's all about the approach. And that approach is determined by you, our customer. Would you like to design something completely new for the market? Do you already have a clear idea of how you want to expand an existing product range? Do you have a product that does not meet the growing demands of the market or specific material properties?

Different approaches require different perspectives. We address this by having two independent development departments: pre-development and product development. These differ as follows:

The preliminary development

  • works on projects for which there is no direct customer order
  • frequently defines its projects based on identified disadvantages of existing product solutions
  • works with and tests materials that have not yet been processed in-house
  • defines and optimizes necessary processes that have not yet been carried out in-house
  • is the point of contact when a new field of application is to be served
  • does not see himself as a mere inventor, but as an innovator. A project is only complete when it is technically and economically ready for the market

Product development

  • handles all projects for which a customer order exists and whose implementation takes place with known materials and processes
  • creates test and adaptation samples, which are usually already based on customer specifications
  • quickly implements requirements from the specifications for the requirements specification and product.
  • measures success in terms of the fulfillment of technical requirements, adherence to deadlines, and compliance with the budget
  • Is part of open and reliable communication with the customer, which often determines the success of projects
