Since its founding more than three decades ago, the company has been manufacturing customized products from foam and plastics in Cologne—from custom-fit packaging to technical components. Wide range of applications
The areas of application are diverse. The portfolio includes body protection elements, protective packaging, and storage and transport systems, as well as technical components with integrated electronics. For example, circuit boards or sensors can be embedded directly in foam to provide optimum protection against external influences. Whether in medical technology, mechanical engineering, or safety-related applications, Leidel & Kracht delivers solutions that make a difference.
From the problem to the finished solution
Customers often come to us with complex tasks – Leidel & Kracht not only develops the right product for them, but also the necessary manufacturing technology. Around 1,500 solutions are created in this way every year, tailored to the diverse requirements of the product to be protected.
In-house technology
A unique selling point of the company: all relevant foam processing technologies are available in-house. From mechanical processing, e.g., milling, to individual shapes through deep drawing or thermal forming.
This is often done by machines that have been specially developed for the requirements of Leidel & Kracht. The well-coordinated team of engineers and technicians has many years of experience and ensures that customers always benefit from sophisticated, innovative solutions.
