After completing my apprenticeship as a precision mechanic and subsequently earning a degree in mechanical engineering, I was actually prepared to work with metallic materials at the 1/100 mm scale. Things turned out differently, and so—apart from a few years’ break—I have now been working in the foam industry for over 20 years. Of that time, I spent 6 years as head of development at L&K Schaumstoff-Technik, and since 2014 I have served as managing director at L&K-Verpackungs-Technik.

To me, foam is the material of (almost) unlimited possibilities. In combination with plastic components and films, a wide range of exciting products can be manufactured using numerous production techniques. Thanks to the many mechanical and thermal manufacturing techniques available in our on-site production facilities, we can combine an infinite number of variations.

As a passionate product developer, L&K offers me a vast playground to bring my ideas to life. I really enjoy working with the diverse members of the L&K team to achieve our technically ambitious goals together.

In my free time, I enjoy riding and repairing my bicycles, hiking in the area, and improving my coordination skills by regularly attending dance classes.
