Leidel & Kracht has developed a customized service case for medical technology specialist piXelmed that is used worldwide, including on cruise ships such as the Mein Schiff fleet operated by TUI Cruises. The robust outdoor case is used to transport X-ray technology tools and measuring devices, with a focus on the harsh environment of international luggage transport.
High requirements for protection, order, and durability
The main task is the maintenance and repair of X-ray equipment in floating medical facilities. The product quality must be correspondingly high. Each case is custom-made and has been manufactured according to the Leidel & Kracht concept. The interior consists of a precisely fitting base insert and milled trays made of cross-linked PE foam, which has been additionally coated with a particularly durable and elegant top layer. The foam in the lid contains a separate insert for customs documents to facilitate customs clearance at international airports.
