Structure, team spirit, and staying power—what makes the job special
What motivates Jan Grummel to come to work full of energy every morning? For him, the answer is clear: creative freedom and involvement. "What motivates me most is the opportunity to organize my day independently and actively contribute to improvements. I appreciate being able to contribute my ideas and see that they really make a difference."
Jan has been part of Leidel & Kracht since February 3, 2025. His work is varied and ranges from bank entries, incoming and outgoing invoices to special projects such as the implementation of DocuWare or collaboration with L&K India. "I enjoy working with numbers, and I don't rest until I have really understood complex issues."
Teamwork is also an important factor for Jan: "We support and encourage each other and learn from our mistakes together. Things don't always run smoothly, but in the end we get the ball in the goal. That's what makes our team strong."
His greatest professional achievement to date? Passing his accounting exam last year. It's a milestone he looks back on with pride and one that accompanies him in his everyday work: "The decisions that are made stand or fall on the figures I prepare and check – that gives my job real meaning."
