Our summer party, which took place on Saturday, August 24, at the Leidel & Kracht Schaumstofftechnik premises in Cologne Niehl, was a resounding success! Around 200 guests took the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful weather together and tour the production halls.
Preparations for this year's summer party had been in full swing for a long time. Our organization team had been making plans and getting quotes for weeks. Last Saturday, the big day finally arrived, and they were able to reap the rewards of their hard work: a successful summer party with perfect weather and around 200 satisfied guests.
A look behind the scenes: experiencing the workplace up close
The party officially began at 3 p.m. and the atmosphere was excellent right from the start. The tour of the production facilities was particularly well received: anyone who was interested was able to take a look at a cordoned-off area of the production facility. Numerous employees from the foam technology department took the opportunity to show their families and friends their own workplace and give them an insight into their daily work – and the employees from the packaging technology department were of course also able to answer any questions.
Action, fun, and colorful faces
Another highlight was the face painting for children and adults. Many young (and older) guests had themselves transformed into various colorful fantasy figures and animals. There was also a bouncy castle for the children and – for the more athletically inclined – Bobby car and go-kart races as well as goal wall shooting. Adult guests could also test their accuracy at the dart machines.
Cold drinks in summer temperatures
No summer party would be complete without the right food and drink. So there was a snack truck and a coffee and espresso truck on site. Ice cream and cool drinks were particularly popular in the summer temperatures of over 30 degrees Celsius.
