City Cycling 2024: Strong as a team, we maintain the standard
People at Leidel-Kracht show their sporty side during City Cycling. A charming coincidence: our 14-strong cycling group achieved exactly the same results this year as in 2023. In total, they covered 3,250 kilometers of their everyday journeys by bike, which ultimately put them in 139th place in the overall ranking. By way of comparison, only nine teams in similar or larger groups were ranked ahead of us. This fabulous result clearly highlights the constant determination, commitment, and performance of our team. Leidel-Kracht would like to thank the entire cycling group for their tireless efforts—both on the pedals and in their positions within the company. Together, we maintain high standards of fitness and technical expertise.
What is "City Cycling"?
City Cycling is a Germany-wide campaign in which participants try to cover as many everyday journeys as possible by bike within a three-week period. The aim is to raise awareness of climate-friendly mobility, reduce CO₂ emissions and promote the enjoyment of cycling. Teams of various sizes from companies, schools, clubs, and families collect kilometers, which are counted at the end and published in a ranking list. The prize? A good feeling and excellent health.
